Agentes de la Policía Nacional y de la Guardia Civil han desmantelado un
entramado que en dos años falsificó unas 50.000 recetas con las que
compraban benzodiacepinas, que después vendían de forma ilegal en
Marruecos. En total han sido detenidas 18 personas por un presunto
delito contra la salud pública, pertenencia a organización criminal y
falsedad documental.
Según ha indicado la Policía, la operación se inició en abril de 2015 a raíz de una inspección en una farmacia de Cádiz, cuando la Inspectora de Farmacia de la Delegación Territorial de Cádiz comprobó un aumento en la falsificación de recetas médicas privadas.
Por otro lado, agentes de la Guardia Civil de Cádiz iniciaron en agosto de 2015 una investigación en el mismo sentido, tras una denuncia que presentó un psiquiatra-psicoterapeuta que había detectado que se estaba haciendo uso de recetas privadas, empleando su nombre y número de colegiado.
Las investigaciones se cruzaron y conforme avanzó la investigación, los agentes detectaron un repunte en la obtención de este medicamento mediante la presentación de recetas falsificadas en varias farmacias del Campo de Gibraltar, Algeciras y La Línea de la Concepción.
Además, poco después se detectaron cantidades importantes de recetas falsificadas en Extremadura, la Comunidad Valenciana o Castilla-La Mancha. Posteriormente, los agentes detectaron que se extendió la práctica ilegal a todo el territorio nacional.

Agents of the National Police and the Civil Guard have dismantled a network that in two years falsified some 50,000 recipes with which they bought benzodiazepines, which later sold illegally in Morocco. In addition, important quantities of counterfeit recipes were detected shortly afterwards in Extremadura, Comunidad Valenciana or Castilla-La Mancha. Subsequently, the agents detected that the illegal practice spread to the whole national territory.
